Where it all started
Dani B Johanson is a German born author, currently living in South Wales, UK. She has a Bachelor in Arts and worked in creative writing, editing and translating for a number of years.
Over time, she discovered her passion for the human mind and psychology, which has greatly inspired her work and led to the creation of her first fictional novel "Boy Interrupted" - A dark & seductive, yet humorous journey into the mind of young psychopath Riley Lachance.
From Interactive story-telling...
Like many others, Dani started writing at a young age with a huge passion for creating fictional stories. She always dreamt of writing her own book one day, but upon finishing college, she first embarked upon a career within art, fashion design and marketing.
Though content and editing was always a huge part of her various roles, it wasn't until 2018, that she finally took the step and started publishing stories on the interactive story app "Episode" - And that is when her mind and creativity started to truly unfold.
To the publishing of her first book
Dani started out writing romance on Episode, but almost immediately found herself most comfortable and intrigued within the dark minds of serial killers, psychopaths and overall - Bad Boys! Some of her earlier work on the Episode app can be found below.
After years of building her community within Episode, she finally took the step of turning one of her interactive stories into a real book and that's how "Boy Interrupted" was born. The main character Riley has played a huge part in her world ever since he was created and hopefully, he will enrich your life just as much as he did Dani's.
